I must confess: I began this post several months ago, but then realized half of the pictures we took on our in Seattle were missing. Naturally, the logical course of action was to have a little melt-down, spend several days trying to restore the computer and the missing pictures, and leave this draft sitting in its lonely corner.
However, I married a good egg who re-created most of our "missing" adventures in Seattle with pictures he found on the web. While they don't contain our faces, they are a good reminder of the fun we had. Thank you my eternal manfriend!
Our drive up to Washington started out on a GORGEOUS morning.
It's a long drive. And I'm always happily surprised and amused at the positions Garrett can sleep in.
We tried to avoid this guy. Precariously balanced, at best.
My mom lives on a lake. We took a nice jog one morning.
Another morning we hiked up to some falls in the pass. I can truthfully say I've never seen waterfalls to rival the majesty and beauty of those found in Washington.Another morning we forayed out to Saltwater State Park at one of the lowest tides of the year. We got there probably an hour before the tide was at "low-tide" and stayed until it started coming back in. We tiptoed and splashed our way down the beach, uncovering cool things. (Pictured above is a moon jelly).
